Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Healthy volunteers with no known chronic respiratory illness (as per self-report and screening) 2.Resident in the area for at least one year 3.Willing to give informed consent and undergo spirometry 4. Persons not taking any medication for respiratory complaints for past 3-4 months
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.History of smoking (current or past) 2.Known cases of asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, or other chronic respiratory illnesses 3. Recent acute respiratory infections 4. Individuals with known occupational exposure to dust, smoke, chemicals or industrial pollutants 5. Individuals with other systemic illness or any co-morbidity
