Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy patients without any systemic illness (ASA-I) having a single rooted tooth diagnosed with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis and healthy periapical radiographic appearance.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are pregnant/lactating, immunocompromised, or allergic to any medication. Patients who have poor oral hygiene, used analgesics within 48 hours or antibiotics within 2 weeks, have any systemic disease, and have a habit of bruxism or clenching. Patients with periapical lesion, abscess or cellulitis, swelling, or sinus tract. Teeth that have calcified canals, internal/external resorption, an immature apex, a periodontal pocket depth greater than 4 mm, and a mobility grade greater than grade 1. Teeth which are severely damaged (non-restorable), cracked, or have had previous endodontic treatment
