Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: a. Patients having clinical sign and symptoms of Dushta vrana (as per Ayurvedic and modern medical criteria) b. Patients willing for trial. c. Patients of age group 30-60 years of either gender.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a. If patients fail to adhere to the protocol requirements. b. Patients with uncontrolled diabetes, pre diagnosed disorders like maligancy, osteomyelitis and tubercular ulcer. c. Pregnant and lactating mothers. d. HIV, HBsAg positive patients.

To explore the available Ayurvedic literature of Vrana w.s.r. to Dushta Vrana and ingredients of Panchvalkal in wound healing. ii. To explore available literature of chronic non healing wound. iii. To evaluate the effectiveness of Panchvalkal ointment in promoting better wound healing with minimal scar formation thereby improving the quality of life.
