Intervention1: Selenium supplementation: selenium supplementation in the form of Selenomethionine will be given in the form of capsules dosage- 200 microgram per day for 3 months Control Intervention1

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with confirmed gut dysbiosis, sarcopenia and selenium deficiency in Ulcerative colitis patients

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Females, co-morbidities (heart failure, diabetes mellitus, kidney disease and COPD) and patients on other diseases medications
