Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Singleton pregnancy with cephalic presentation Normal body mass index 18.5 to 22.9 kg/m2 Full term gestational age 37 to 41 weeks Normal neonate weight 2.5 to 3.9 kg Those who underwent mediolateral episiotomy Those who are willing to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Women with HIV AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) Hepatitis B virus infection HCV infection Suspected genital infection Extensive varicose veins of the external genitalia 3rd or 4th degree of perineal tears, and no access to a phone line (for follow-up) Diabetes mellitus Instrumental vaginal delivery
