Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with Asthma. Patients currently using Metered Dose Inhaler. Parents having access to smartphones. Patients and parents willing to answer C-ACT questionnaires.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having other respiratory disorders. Patients with major cognitive disabilities. Patients using only nebulizer therapy.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Change in novel inhaler technique score from baseline to 3months after intervention with Video Directly Observed Therapy. Proportion of children achieving the correct inhaler technique at end of the study.Timepoint: 3months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in medication adherence. Change in Asthma exacerbation frequency. Reduce in inhaler technique errors. Asthma symptoms control score improvement. To improve caregiver knowledge and confidence.Timepoint: 3months
