Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Paturients posted for elective LSCS 2 Age between 20 and 35 yrs

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Placenta previa 1 Pre-eclampsia 2 Gestational Diabetes Mellitus 3 Body Mass Index more than 40 kg/m2 4 Cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease 5 Hypothyroidism 6 Hyperthyroidism 7 Hypertension with baseline MAP less than 75mm/hg 8 Patients Posted for emergency LSCS 9 Contraindication to spinal anesthesia

MeasureTime frame
To establish a correlation between preoperative perfusion index ,pleth variability index (PVI) and intraoperative hypotension following spinal anesthesia in LSCS.Timepoint: preoperative baseline PI & PVI every one minute for 3 min & intraoperative after spinal anesthesia every 2 mins interval upto 20 mins & then every 5mins till the end of surgery will be noted

To ascertain the requirement of vasopressor concerning PI value PVI valueTimepoint: preoperative baseline PI & PVI every one minute for 3 min & intraoperative after spinal anesthesia every 2 mins interval upto 20 mins & then every 5mins till the end of surgery & if mean arteial pressure drops below 60 mmhg or drops more than 20 percent injection ephedrine 6 mg will be given
