Intervention1: 3 mg Melatonin: 3 mg melatonin film will be placed inside the flap after debridement and then sutured back for improved wound healing and pain perception Control Intervention1: placebo

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients in age range of 18 50yrs. 2.Subject should have at least 20 natural permanent teeth. 3.Patient with Periodontitis Stage II Grade B

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Smokers and tobacco chewers. 2.Patients using orthodontic or prosthodontic appliances either fixed or removable. 3.Patients with systemic diseases, pregnancy, or lactating woman. 4.Patients with previously reported allergy to drug. v. Patients with history of insomnia and under medication
