Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with Type 2 DM. 2. Patients with fasting blood sugar levels ranges between 126 mg/dl to 150 mg/dl & post lunch levels between 200 mg/dl to 250 mg/dl , HbA1C between 6.5 % to 8% with eAG between 140 to 183 mg/dl. 3. Patients with Symptoms like polyuria , polyphagia, polydipsia ,weightloss, tingling & numbness in hands & feets.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Prediabetic & Patients with Type1 DM & other specific types like Gestational diabetes, LADA, MODY etc. 2. Pregnant & Lactating women. 3. Patients below 30 years and above 65 years of age. 4. Patients with FBS greaterthan 150 mg/dl & PLBS greater than 250 mg/dl , HBA1C greater than 8% , eAG greater than 183mg/dl. 5. Patients with complications like Diabetic nephropathy, neuropathy ,retinopathy, CAD & Liver disease. 6.Immuno compromised & Mentally challenged patients. 7. Patients with H/O participation in other study within last 2-3 months.

Change in the Glycaemic control markers (HBA1C eAg ,FBS,PLBS).Timepoint: 3 Months , with 6 follow ups at an interval of 15 days.

Change in the Diabetes quality of life Questionnaire (DQOL -Brasil 8)Timepoint: 3 Months , with 6 follow ups at an interval of 15 days.
