Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: control Systemically healthy patients test group selection of periodontitis groups would be based on the recent 2017 classification of periodontal and per implant diseases Selection of rheumatoid arthritis subjects would be based onthe EULAR/ACR criteria
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ongoing infectious diseases pregnant/lactating mothers other autoimmune disease for patients with RA obese individuals and diabetes mellitus not undergone periodontal therapy in past6 months Osteoporosis any systemic disorders that can affect adipokine levels Use of antibiotics in the previous 3 months. Current and former smokers
