Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Parents mother or father who have at least one school age child 6 to 12 years enrolled in the selected school 2 Parents who are the primary caregivers and responsible for the child s health-related decisions 3 Parents who are willing to participate and provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Parents who are healthcare professionals doctors nurses community health workers or have formal training in health sciences to avoid prior professional knowledge bias 2 Parents whose child has a current diagnosis of rheumatic fever or rheumatic heart disease as their knowledge experience may not reflect general parental knowledge 3. Parents unwilling to participate or unable to provide written informed consent.
