Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age of patient between 40 to 70 years. (Vulnerable population above 60 years will be taken care of as per the guidelines suggested by Institutional Ethics Commitee. ) 2.Classical signs and symptoms of Janusandhigat vata(osteoarthritis of the knee joint) 3.Patients irrespective of demographic data i.e. gender, occupation, socioeconomic status, area of habitat, and education. 4.In case of bilaterally affected knee joint by Janusandhigat vata,more affected joint will be taken into consideration.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Osteoarthritis secondary to other conditions like trauma, fractures etc. Rheumatoid arthritis (Amavata). Gouty arthritis (Vatarakta). Complete loss of articular cartilage. Severe bursitis. Pregnant women and lactating women. Critical illness like Cardiac disease, Carcinoma, Tuberculosis, HIV, Trauma, Neurological disorders Patients suffering from diseases like uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus, Structural fracture, Ligament tear
