Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 40 60 years. Patient of either gender. Diagnosed cases of Janugata Vata (Knee Osteoarthritis). Willingness to participate and provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Secondary OA due to trauma/known systemic illness. Rheumatoid arthritis, gout, septic arthritis. Severe systemic illness/unfit for trial interventions. Lactating or pregnant women.

MeasureTime frame
1. To assess the role Specific Ayurvedic treatment regimen in the management of Janugata Vata (Knee Osteoarthritis). 2. To assess the improvement in functional ability and stiffness using the WOMAC index (Indian Modified CRD Pune Version). 3. To evaluate the effect of the regimen on pain reduction using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and WOMAC pain subscale. 4. To evaluate reduction in joint swelling and tenderness. Timepoint: 18 month

1. To assess the effect of the regimen on range of motion (ROM) of the knee joint. 2. To assess safety and tolerability by monitoring adverse effects. Timepoint: 18 month
