Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with age of 30-70 yrs. 2. Patients of both sexes. 3. Patients of Stage 1 (130/80 mm Hg to 139/89 mm Hg ) and stage 2 (140/90 mm Hg TO 170/119 mm Hg ) hypertension. 4. Patients those who are willing to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with malignant and secondary hypertension. 2.Patients with the history of MI, unstable angina, arrhythmias, CCF, stroke, uncontrolled endocrine or metabolic diseases, hepatic failure, impaired renal function, severe diabetes mellitus, tuberculosis, malignancy, patients who are operated for any reason. 3.Pregnant women.

MeasureTime frame
Heart rate variability will be measured as a primary outcome & the subject will be advised to rest for 5 minutes in a supine position on a couch. The lead II ECG will be recorded by using an analog ECG amplifier & converting it to digital using the sound card inside the computer.Timepoint: Assessment will occur 5 minutes before and after the intervention.
