Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient having periodontitis according to 2017 classification of Periodontal and Peri-implant Diseases Dentulous patients with severity of Stage 1 or Stage 2 Periodontitis. Patient willingness to participate in study. No history of periodontal therapy in the last 3 months. Asthmatic patients confirmed by latest GINA (Global Initiative for Asthma) guidelines 2024 Patients having no chronic inflammatory diseases. No hospitalisation within the last 6 months and were not on any continuous medical or herbal medication.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Completely edentulous patients. Medication and any systemic diseases which can affect periodontal health status of patient. Pregnant and lactating women. Periodontal therapy in the previous six months. Patient not providing consent for enrollment in study. Mentally disabled patients. No history of smoking.
