Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: adult patients with type 2 DM attending diabetic follow-up visits and diagnosed with foot ulcers.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a pre-existing severe psychiatric disorders or with traumatic ulcer- not associated with diabetes or who were severely ill and unable to communicate throughout the study period.
