Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Subjects between the age group of 20-50 years. 2.Family history of Type II Diabetes 3.HbA1c level of :- 5.7% - 6.4 % (ADA Criteria). 4.FBS :- 100-125mg/dl 5.BMI more than 25 (ADA Criteria). 6.Subjects who are willing to follow Prescribed diet and life style. 7.Subjects willing to sign the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects with known Type I and Type II Diabetics . 2.Subjects already under medication for Diabetes. 3.Subjects with any known systemic illness such as Cardiovascular diseases, Chronic Kidney disease, Endocrine disorders, Liver disorders, Respiratory Conditions, Autoimmune diseases, Malignancy. 4.Subjects who are Pregnant and lactating . 5.Physical disability or musculoskeletal issues

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Significant improvement in HbA1c, FBS levels could will be observed.Timepoint: Assessment of Fasting Blood Sugar levels at baseline, 4th week, 8th week and 12th week, and change in HbA1c levels from baseline to 12th week.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Generation of in depth analyzed data on the subjective improvements observed with the addition of Shatapada Gamana. Improvement in quality of life based on self reported changes in subjective parameters.Timepoint: Assessment of secondary outcome parameters at baseline, 4th week & 8th week to assess changes over the intervention period.
