Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Cooperative behavior for dental treatment under local anesthesia (Frankel behavioral rating scale- class 3 or 4) 2 Children of age group- 5 to 11 years. 3 Teeth indicated for pulpectomy with no radiographic external or internal pathologic root resorption.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Periradicular involvement extending into the permanent tooth bud. 2 Preshedding mobility. 3 Non restorable crown. 4 Pathologic root resorption involving more than one third of the root. Gingival swelling or presence of sinus tract. Difficulties in communication Presence of dentigerous or follicular cyst Pathologic loss of bone support with loss of the normal periodontal attachment. Children who require emergency dental treatment. Children with known allergy to zinc oxide eugenol or Calcium hydroxide.
