Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients between 18 and 70 years of age, irrespective of sex, caste, religion, or socioeconomic status, who present with prabhuta and/or avila mutrata. Patients showing purvarupa of kaphaja prameha, such as alasya, tandra, nidra, malam kaye, mukhamadhurya, shithilangata, and shaya-asana-swapana sukhe, will be included. Patients should have HbA1c values between 5.7 and 10 percent, with body mass index greater than 25 and a waist-to-hip ratio greater than 0.9 in males and greater than 0.85 in females.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria will include patients presenting with pittaja or vataja prameha purvarupa, such as karapadadaha, mukhatalushosha, pipasadhikyata, and karapadasuptata. Patients with upadrava of prameha, HbA1c levels greater than 10 percent, or any serious illness like cardiovascular or renal disease will be excluded. Pregnant and lactating mothers will also be excluded.
