Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. Patient willing for the research trial. b. Patients between age group of 15 to 65 years. d. In patient, all type of Shotha (Vishjanya).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Pregnant women, lactating women. b. Patients are not willing for trial and support. c. Patients having severe disease like AIDS, Cancer, Diabetes, T.B, Severe Heart disease, Jaundice, Renal failure, Anxiety, disorder etc. d. Diabetic patient e. Chronicity more than 5year f. Falariasis

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Measurement of size / circumference of swelling (cm) Clinical grading of swelling (0 3 scale: none, mild, moderate, severe) Pain associated with swelling (VAS / grading scale) Local tenderness and temperatureTimepoint: 8 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in pain associated with swelling assessed using Visual Analog Scale (VAS) or grading scale. Reduction in local tenderness assessed clinically. Reduction in local warmth / inflammation on palpation. Improvement in functional ability of affected part (movement, daily activity limitation). Overall clinical improvement assessed by physician global assessment. Safety assessment based on occurrence of any adverse events during treatment.Timepoint: Baseline (Day 0) Day 7 Day 14 End of Treatment (Day 28)
