Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Participants/patients giving written informed consent. 2)Adult healthy (non diabetic) participants -age and sex matched (Group A) 3)Adult patients suffering from diabetes under control (Group B) 4)Adult patients suffering from uncontrolled diabetes - (group C)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having severe diabetic complications, other systemic illness and those who will be under medication for other diseases, will be excluded from this study

To establish the role of salivary glucose and alpha amylase as a biomarker in diagnosing and monitoring patients with diabetes thereby making a very easy way of monitoring diabetic patients and thereby helping the diabetic patients non invasive method of monitoring blood glucose.Timepoint: 24 hours
