Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adults (18-65 years) Scheduled for elective nasal surgery under general anaesthesia requiring placement of endotracheal tube and throat pack (Septoplasty, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Septorhinoplasty), Duration of surgery between 60 to 180 minutes
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of recent upper respiratory tract infection or sore throat Anticipated difficult airway Patients who require more than one attempt at endotracheal intubation Traumatic intubation Preoperative use of analgesic medications (Paracetamol/NSAIDs/Opioids) within 24 hours of surgery Previous H/O any laryngotracheal disease Known allergy to study drug
