Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with Blunt trauma to abdomen with relevant clinical and radiological investigations that were consistent with injury to the spleen.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with other major concomitant injuries with splenic injury where surgical intervention is first performed for the injuries other than the spleen will be excluded from the study population
