Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All Newly diagnosed essential hypertension (stage 1 or stage 2) attending the outpatient department, BRD Medical college, Gorakhpur No history of cardiovascular diseases or other comorbidities that might confound the study. Patients giving written informed consent will be taken
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Secondary hypertension (e.g., renal, endocrine). Pregnancy or lactation. Known hypersensitivity to calcium channel blockers. Severe renal or hepatic dysfunction. Patients on other antihypertensive therapies. Not giving consent
