Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To compare the prognostic value of Lactate Albumin Ratio (LAR) and C-Reactive Protein Albumin Ratio (CAR) in predicting 28-day all-cause mortality within the first 24 hours of ICU admission among adult patients who are diagnosed with sepsis.Timepoint: Patient will be assessed for 28 days mortality | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To assess the association of LAR and CAR with clinical outcomes like: 1. Duration of mechanical ventilation (ventilation free days), 2.requirement of vasopressors, 3.length of ICU 4.Length hospital stay. 5.28 day mortality. Timepoint: ;To compare LAR and CAR with other prognostic indices like APACHE2, SOFA, Pro calcitonin, CRP, Lactate, TLC, Albumin.Timepoint: | — |
