Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with acne-induced PIH on the face. 2.Patients between 18 35 years of age. 3.Patients with mild-to-moderate PIH. 4.Both genders. 5.All socio-economic statuses.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with pre-diagnosed primary pigmentary disorders (e.g., melasma, vitiligo) or systemic conditions causing hyperpigmentation (e.g., Addison s disease, drug-induced pigmentation). 2.History of recent invasive skin procedures (e.g., laser resurfacing, deep chemical peels) in the affected areas within the past 6 months. 3.Cases with severe dermal PIH unlikely to respond to topical or non-invasive treatments. 4.Patients with active skin infections or significant traumatic injuries in the affected areas within the past 6 months. 5.Patients currently receiving systemic or topical treatments for PIH (e.g., hydroquinone, retinoids, corticosteroids) or undergoing skin-specific therapies (e.g., intense pulsed light, microneedling). 6.Patients with severe comorbidities such as uncontrolled diabetes, advanced cardiovascular diseases, or renal/hepatic failure. 7.Pregnant women and lactating mothers.
