Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants from the age group 20-60 years irrespective of gender. Participants representing signs and symptoms of Katigraha, suffering from more than 30days and who are willing to participate in study with their consent. Participants fit for Swedana karma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants presenting with the history of major systemic disorders that may interfere with the course of treatment. Pregnant women and Bone degenerative conditions. Diagnosed cases of HIV, HBsAG, Tuberculosis. Participants presenting with the history of traumatic, infective and neoplastic conditions of spine. Participants who are unfit for Swedana Karma

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Assessment will be based on Katishoola (Visual analogue scale 0-10), Stambha (Schober s test), Kriyahani (flexion), Tenderness, Samyak svedana lakshana.Timepoint: At 0th,6th and 12th day.

Secondary

To improve ease of life.Timepoint: 12th day
