Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged above 18 years. 2. Patients with clinically evident gingival melanin pigmentation. 3. Patients with no history of recent depigmentation treatments or procedures on the gingival area within the last 6 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with systemic diseases or conditions. 2. Patients taking medications that could affect healing process. 3. Patient who is smoker. 4. Patient who is pregnant or lactating.

MeasureTime frame
Clinical outcomes will be assessed based on the degree of pigmentation removal, healing time, postoperative pain and any postoperative complications. Additional parameters including patient satisfaction and colour changes in the gingiva will be notedTimepoint: baseline. 3days, 1 week, 1 month
