Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with classical signs and symptoms of Janu sandhigata vata 2.Patient between the age group of 40 and 70 years irrespective of gender 3.Clinical Diagnosis based on signs and symptoms for Osteoarthritis of knee joint 4. Patients having Radiological changes of Grade 1 to Grade 3 of kellgren Lawrence grading system with related to Osteoarthritis of knee 5. The patients who are willing to participate and sign Informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Secondary Osteoarthritis due to infection or inflammatory disease like Rheumatoid Arthritis , Gout or Psoriatic Arthritis . 2.Patients having a history of trauma induced knee joint pain. 3. Systemic disorder like Uncontrolled Diabetics and Hypertension , Carcinoma , Tuberculosis 4. Patient who has undergone knee replacement surgery. 5.Patient having Grade 4 of kellgren- Lawrence grading system. 6. Patients unwilling to participate 7.Patients who are unfit for basti.

Reduction in the pain measured by using VAS (Visual Analog Scale) 2. Improvement in Range of motion is measured by Goniometry 3. Reduction in the Swelling is measured by using Measurement tape. 4. Reduction in WOMAC scoreTimepoint: Reduction in the pain measured by using VAS (Visual Analog Scale) on 9th and 24th day of treatment 2. Improvement in Range of motion is measured by Goniometry on 9th and 24th day 3. Reduction in the Swelling is measured by using Measurement tape on 9th and 24th day 4. Reduction in WOMAC score on 9th and 24 the day
