Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Trauma patients admitted to the ICU. Patients/Relatives giving written informed consent for study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient s/ Relative s refusal 2.Patient with diabetic, hypertensive nephropathy 3.Patients with chronic kidney disease 4.Renal trauma patients. 5.Traumatic brain injury patients.

Occurrence of acute kidney injury during ICU stay, diagnosed according to KDIGO guidelines, and its association with 1. Renal Resistive Index values and 2. Urinary NGAL levelsTimepoint: At the time of admission that is baseline and at AKI diagnosis approx 1week
