Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients in the age group of 18 to 25 years; requiring fixed mechanotherapy with therapeutic extraction of first and or second premolars. Patients with Angles Class I malocclusion. Patients exhibiting a curve of Spee more than 2mm. Little irregularity index scores greater than 4mm. Eruption of all permanent mandibular teeth up to second molar.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with anterior or posterior open bite. Patients with normal overbite. Patients with anterior or posterior cross-bite. Patient are allergic to nickel or other metal alloys used in orthodontic appliances. Periodontally compromised subjects.
