Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient with chronic neuropsychiatric disorders like Dementias, Parkinson s disease with behaviour symptoms, late onset schizophrenia, Depressive disorder with behaviour expressions, post stroke behavioural symptoms (chronic eg. , Apathy, irritability, agitation), obsessive compulsive disorder, Anxiety disorder with Behavioural expressions 2.Behavioural symptoms present (e.g., aggression, disinhibition, hallucinations, apathy, irritability, night time disturbances) confirmed through NPI baseline score more than or equal to 4 in any domain. 3.There is no universal cut off exists, many dementia studies adopt NPI total scores more than or equal to 4 or more than or equal to 6 or domain scores more than or equal to 4 as practical thresholds for clinically meaningful neuropsychiatric symptoms. These are generally based on expert consensus and trial conventions rather than empirical cut off validation studies 4.The researchers used ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) curve analysis to determine that a total score of 11 was the best threshold for distinguishing dementia from cognitively normal individuals. 5.This threshold achieved an AUC (Area Under Curve) of 0.755, showing moderate diagnostic accuracy Patient having physical co-morbidities like Hypertension, Diabetes who are on regular conventional treatment, hypothyroidism, Coronary artery disease/ any stable cardiac anomaly ( with no recent MI or CVA in past 6 months)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Acute neuropsychiatric episodes (e.g., delirium, recent stroke 2.Uncontrolled BP not settling with any modulation in treatment in past 3 months 3.Uncontrolled DM (HBA1C greater than 9 precentage despite treatment, hospitalization due to DKA or severe hypoglycaemia in past 3 months, non-adherent to hypo glycaemic agents resulting in erratic sugars) 4.Patient with substance use disorder
