Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: . Patients of post stroke shoulder hand syndrome diagnosed with a Budapest criteria . Stroke confirmed clinically and radiologically . Either gender . Age between 20 to 60 years . Patients willing to participate in the trial . patients with a score of more than 44 on the Fugl Meyer Assessment for the Upper Extremity Scale

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: . Severe subluxation, frozen shoulder or fracture deformity . Previous surgery or trauma to the shoulder or pre stroke history of frozen shoulder . Chronic inflammatory arthritis of the shoulder joint . Congenital bony abnormalities of the shoulder joint . Thermoalgesic sensitivity deficit . Active skin infection, abscesses, eczema,psoriasis,or wound at cupping sites that is shoulder . Uncontrolled hypertension that is Systemic blood pressure greater than 160 millimetre of mercury or Diastolic blood pressure more than 100 millimetre of mercury . Patients with Pacemakers or implantable defibrillators That is contraindicated for Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation . Aphasia or communication deficits preventing a reliable assessment . severe cognitive impairment that is Mini Mental State Examination less than 23 . Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus that is Haemoglobin A1c Greater than 9 percentage . pregnancy or lactation . Patients with known Renal, Liver, Cardiac and Respiratory diseases . Inability to attend regular therapy sessions . Ongoing use of other traditional therapies for example Acupuncture , leech therapy during the study period
