Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Paediatric age group of 2-6 years old, scheduled for elective surgeries under general endotracheal anaesthesia will enroll in the study after obtaining their written informed consent from the parent/guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with known pulmonary or cardiac disease. History of recent upper respiratorytract infection Anticipated difficult intubation/mask ventilation. Emergency surgeries. Patients whose guardian/parent declined to give consent
