Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Preterm neonates between the age group of 28- 36 weeks of gestation are admitted in the NICU unit for a minimum of 3 days after recruitment. Neonates available in NICU for a minimum of 9 days Eligible preterm neonate s mothers who are physically and psychologically fit to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neonate s birth weight is below the third percentile for gestational age. Neonates with significant congenital defects and chromosomal abnormalities
