Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed cases of Rheumatoid Arthritis as per ACR or EULAR 2010 classification criteria. 2. Subjects of Age group 18 to 65 years irrespective of gender. 3. DAS28 score between 3.2 and 5.1 moderate disease activity. 4. Patients who are admitted in Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College Hospital Inpatient department satisfying above criteria and undergoing Kulatha Gomayabhasma Potali Sweda with internal ayurvedic medication for a period of 7 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe joint deformities or advanced RA. 2. RA patients who do not follow kulatha Bhasma Potali Sweda for 7 days. 3. Known cases of autoimmune disorders other than RA. 4. Patients with heat intolerance were excluded from the study. 5. Patient who has received immunosuppressive or conventional modern medicine for RA in the last 3 months. 6. Participants having completed any other trial within the past 6 months.
