Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Mature permanent molars Non- contributory medical history Patients with clinical presentation of pain suggestive of pulpal inflammation Positive response to cold testing with no signs of pulpal necrosis including swelling or sinus tract Normal probing pocket depth and tooth mobility Normal periapical structures (Periapical Index Score PAI 1) Willingness to provide informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Immature teeth with open apex Radiolucency at the periapical zones or furcation Existence of calcification (pulp stone, diffuse calcification, disk-like chamber) and internal or external resorption Existence of swelling of the sinus tract and the negative response to testing Insufficient bleeding after pulp exposure; the pulp is judged partially necrotic Patient with systemic conditions known to affect CRP levels Presence of periodontal disease
