Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: I.Age group between 3 to 16 years. II. Patients irrespective of their Gender , Religion & Socio-economic status. III. Patients having symptoms of functional constipation as per diagnostic criteria. IV. Patient with no congenital abnormalities. V. Written consent will be taken from every parent of the patient.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: I.Patients below age 3 and above 16 years. II. Patients having organic constipation or any abdominal obstructive pathologies which intervenes with treatment. III.Patients suffering from any systemic disease ex. Hirschsprung s disease, Intussusception, Anorectal anomalies, Hypothyroidism, Tuberculosis, HIV, Colon cancer. IV. Patient having condition of acute abdominal pain, acute febrile illness etc. V. Patient known case of IBS &Prolapsed rectum.
