Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient diagnosed with Depression based on DSM-5 criteria 2.Patients not taking any other medication for Depression since atleast last 1 month 3.Patients who are willing to participate and provide informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient with severe medical illness 2.Psychiatric Emergencies or Patients with history of attempted suicide and suicidal tendencies 3.Patient ranking as severe and very severe depression according to HDRS scale 4.Patients with a history of substance abuse. 5.Pregnant and Lactating women
