Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patient having signs and symptoms of Vataj Abhishyanda described by ayurveda and patient having signs and symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis described in modern scince will be included 2) Patients with unilateral or bilateral vataj abhishyanda 3) Irrespective of gender socioeconomic status religion 4) The patients of age from 18 years to 50 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patient having signs and symptoms other than Allergic Conjunctivitis 2) Patient having corneal involvement 3) Patients suffering from malignant conditions of eye 4) Patient having congenital anomalies of eyes 5) Patients having P/H/O any eye surgery 6) Patients who are contraindicated for anjan karma

1 To Assess the reduction in associated symptoms such as pain nistoda in patients of Vataj Abhishyanda after 8 days of Gairikadi Gutika Anjana therapy 2 To assess the reduction in assosiate symptoms such as foreign body sensation in patients of Vataj abhishyanda after 8 days of Gairikadi Gutika Anjana therapy 3 To assess the reduction in assosiate symptoms such as watering of eyes in patients of Vataj abhishyanda after 8 days of Gairikadi Gutika Anjana therapy 4 To assess the reduction in assosiate symptoms such as congestion in eyes in patients of Vataj abhishyanda after 8 days of Gairikadi Gutika Anjana therapy 5 To evaluate the tolerability and safety profile of Gairikadi Gutika when administered as Anjana over a treatment duration of 8 consecutive days 6 To assess pateint reported improvement in quality of life reduction in pain or watery discharge using a standard questionnaire before and after the interventionTimepoint: 15 days
