Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects aged between 18 to 40 years and who are willing to voluntarily participate and sign the written informed consent. Subjects with newly diagnosed case of generalized anxiety disorder.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects who are associated with psychiatric disorders like, depression, panic disorders, social phobias, substance use disorder. Subjects on antipsychiatric medications. Subjects suffering from any systemic illness and who are on medication for comorbidities. Pregnant and lactating women.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Results will be assessed by changes in GAD 7 score. A reduction in GAD 7 score from baseline to zero will be considered as a favourable outcome.Timepoint: every 15 days for first 3 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Any reduction from the baseline score of GAD-7 scale with reduction in signs and symptoms.Timepoint: every 15 days for first 3 months and every months for subsequent months.
