Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: tendoachilles rupture eligible for surgical repair willingness to participate and comply with follow up

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: compound injuries immunocompromised states previous achilles tendon injuries uncontrolled diabetes mellitus or vascular diseases
