Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients will be selected with the presenting symptoms of medaja granthi (lipoma) on examination, are between age group of 21 years to 70 years along with lipoma present all over the body except marma points, 1-2 in number, size less than 5 cm and of skin color will be included. Cases diagnosed with the history of emergence within 3 years along with classical sign and symptoms of medaja granthi (lipoma) as described in Ayurveda text and modern literature. Patient willing to give consent for agnikarma. Both male and female patients will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects suffering from serious ailments live HIV 1 and 2, HbsAg, HCV, uncontrolled HTN, uncontrolled HTN, uncontrolled DM etc. will be excluded. Lipoma having malignant changes, Neurolipoma, Naevolipoma, Fibrolipoma, lipoma having presence of other tissues along with adipocytes, with complications like calcification, myxomatous changes, ulceration and sarcomatous changes will be excluded. Pregnant and lactating women will be excluded. Non co-operative and mentally unstable patient and patients containdicated for agnikarma as per ayurvedic texts will be excluded.
