Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects who are willing to participate as volunteers in the study and sign the written informed consent. Subjects between the age group of 19-40 years. Subjects who are newly diagnosed as Primary Chronic Anal Fissure based on history, clinical presentation and rectal inspection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects suffering from other anorectal conditions like hemorrhoids, anal fistula, anorectal abscess, rectal prolapse, malignancies, IBD. Subjects who had undergone any previous anorectal surgeries for conditions like fissure, fistula, hemorrhoids, rectal prolapse. Subjects who are under medication from other system of medicine for the same complaint. Pregnant and lactating mothers. Subjects suffering from bleeding or clotting disorders.
