Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The trial was open to all participants between the ages of 21 and 50 who had Erectile dysfunction EF domain score of 11 to 21 on the International Index of Erectile Function at screening visits During the study duration participants had to be in a committed and ongoing sexual relationship After reading and comprehending the study materials each participant had to give their informed consent indicating that they were willing to take part in the clinical investigation Participants also had to promise to show up for all of the mandatory study visits

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants who had undergone radical prostatectomy spinal cord injury or any other surgery involving the urogenital organs were not eligible nor were those with anatomical abnormalities of the penis Furthermore individuals with significant sexual dysfunction as indicated by an International Index of Erectile Dysfunction People who had previously failed to respond to pde5 inhibitors or who had undergone therapies for spermatogenic infertility within the previous three months were specifically excluded if their Erectile Function domain score was less than 11 or greater than 21 Participants having a history of pelvic surgery penile implants peyronies disease or severe penile deformities were also eliminated erectile dysfunction associated with primary illnesses or untreated endocrine conditions A history or current problem with considerable drug addictive smokers or alcohol abuse during the last 12 months recent serious health concerns within the last 3 months major disorders at the investigators judgment were additional exclusion factors Additionally excluded were those on hormone therapies antidepressants antipsychotics or other psychoactive medications including those who were allergic to any of the study drugs constituents
