Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children having Bronchospasm. Children with mild to moderate dyspnea. Patients with recurrent episodes of wheezing breathlessness and cough especially with seasonal or allergen exposure.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Bronchospasm falling into any category of anaphylaxis. Patients with severe or acute exacerbation of asthma requiring emergency intervention and ICU admission. Presence of concomitant debilitating systemic illnesses such as tuberculosis, congenital heart disease or congenital respiratory tract anomalies. Children with co-morbidities such as diabetes, seizure disorders.

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to be equal or improvement by 25 % will be seen in parameters such as Ghurghuraka shabda (wheezing), Kasa (cough), Swarabheda (hoarseness), and Pratishyaya (rhinitis). Relief in Swarabheda (Hoarseness) : It is expected to see improvement in swarabheda which is generally not observed with conventional therapy.Timepoint: Baseline and 2 days

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in School Absenteeism: With effective symptom management and fewer exacerbations, a reduction in school absentee days is anticipated, supporting better quality of life and academic performance. No Adverse reactions on long term use: The intervention is expected to show no significant adverse effects even with repeated or long-term use, ensuring better safety and tolerability compared to corticosteroids.Timepoint: Baseline and 7 days
