Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children diagnosed with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder of the age group of 4 to 12 years according to DSM 5 criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children taking polytherapy for epilepsy. 2. Children with recurrent respiratory tract infections, three or more episodes in six-month period or more than six infections in a year. 3. Children diagnosed with inborn error of metabolism. 4. Known case of other chronic systemic illness. 5. Diagnosed with GI issues due to Other systemic causes. The exclusion is based on clinical features, history of illness along with available investigation report.

MeasureTime frame
GSSS [Gastrointestinal symptoms severity scale] to observe changes in GI features associated with ADHD. To observe the association between ADHD and inflammatory markers using Peripheral inflammatory markers like neutrophile-to lymphocyte ratio [NLR], monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio [MLR], platelet-to lymphocyte ratio [PLR],CRP, IL6, TNF-alpha using blood samples.Timepoint: 0th, 61st
