Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult in-hospital death where the dying phase was anticipated and end of life care was provided. Palliative and/or EOLC input in the last phase of care. Family members: A primary family contact (equal or more than 18 years) reachable by telephone, WhatsApp, or email, and if possible, 1-2 other family members who are willing to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Deaths without prior EOLC discussions and documentation. No valid contact information or refusal to participate. Inability to understand the questionnaire language. Failed to be reachable and wishes to withdraw from the study during follow-up after the specified period of time
