Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Primary molars with two surface (occlusoproximal) carious lesions not involving the pulp. 2.Cooperative behavior for dental treatment (class 3 or 4 in Frankel scale). 3.Children of age group- 5 to 12 years. 4.No history of allergic reactions to any metal or polyester. 5.Fully erupted teeth. Fully erupted adjacent tooth. 6.Not taking any medication that potentially interfere pain assessment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Presence of multi-surface lesions. 2.Deep proximal caries involving pulp indicated for Pulp therapy. 3.Pre shedding Mobility. 4.Missing Adjacent teeth 5.History of significant medical condition. Hemophilic patients. Any ongoing medications. 6.Spaced dentition 7.Uncooperative patients 8.Children who require emergency dental treatment.

1.To evaluate the patient comfort using Wong Baker FACES Pain rating scale while restoring primary molars using the Automatrix matrix system. 2.To evaluate the patient comfort using Wong Baker FACES Pain rating scale while restoring primary molars using the FenderMate Matrix System. 3.To evaluate the patient comfort using Wong Baker FACES Pain rating scale while restoring primary molars using the Promatrix Matrix system 4.To evaluate the patient comfort using Wong Baker FACES Pain rating scale while restoring primary molars using the T- bands matrix system. 5.To compare the difference in patient comfort while restoring primary molars using the Wong Baker FACES Pain rating scale using automatrix, FenderMate , Promatrix & t bands matrix systems matrix systems.
