Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients aged 18 to 65 years attending the Psychiatry Outpatient Department of All India Institute of Medical Sciences Kalyani. 2. Patients diagnosed with Alcohol Dependence Syndrome as per ICD 11 criteria. 3. Patients experiencing sleep disturbances as indicated by a Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score of more than five. 4. Patients willing to participate in the study and provide written informed consent. 5. Patients able to understand and follow instructions in Bengali Hindi or English. 6. Patients clinically assessed by a psychiatrist to be free from acute alcohol intoxication or withdrawal. 7. Patients who have been consuming alcohol regularly within the past one year. 8. Patients who possess a smartphone capable of viewing video based educational content.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria Patients with severe psychiatric comorbidities (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe depression with suicidal risk) that may interfere with participation. Presence of severe medical conditions affecting sleep (e.g., uncontrolled diabetes, severe chronic pain, advanced liver disease). Cognitive impairment or inability to comprehend video-based instructions. Patients who have participated in any structured sleep hygiene or behavioral therapy program in the last 3 months. Patients diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) or identified as high risk for OSA (based on STOP-BANG questionnaire)
